He was lost. Raivis had never had a good sense of direction to begin with, but this made it worse. “O-Okay…I can do this...I can do this.” he muttered softly to himself as he looked over the school map he had again. Oh it was all so confusing. “Oh…” he sighed. Seeming to give up.“This is hopeless. I-I need to find my dorm and I’m lost.” He said softly with a sigh of unhappiness. How was he supposed to work this all out? Next thing he knew he might be getting beat up by a bully or something. He hoped not that would be worse than anything. He looked over the map once more as he looked around the campus.
Why did his father send him here to begin with? Especially with no guide or friend or anything of the sort! Raivis looked at his watch and it moved to say 12:30. His stomach let out a small grumble, voicing that it was lunch time. Raivis let out a sigh, his blond curls moving about on his head. “Give me a break…” he muttered as he patted his stomach. “Wait a little longer and we’ll find something...I hope.” He muttered. He soon gave up and sat on a bench at the front entrance. That’s when he remembered. He quickly pulled out an apple from his bag and smiled. He then bit into the red juicy apple with a smile.

The Norwegian had his hands shoved in his pockets as he wandered down the hall. He planned to go outside, if only to prove to himself he wasn’t a shut in. See, the majority of Trygve’s morning was taken up with him sitting in the library doing his homework (well, homework that would be due in a few days). He had attempted to justify this living in the libraryesque lifestyle, but there was no way he could. Somehow through all this supposed logic he found himself wandering down the hall a book under his arm, bag slung over his shoulder as he wandered downstairs.
He sighed stepping into the sunlight, his eyes narrowing a bit in the sun. It was hot here, well… It felt like summer to him. ‘I have to stop complaining…’ He thought to himself, apparently he complained a lot. It didn’t matter much to him, or others seeing that he never complained out loud. Though he would like to make note that the summers in Norway were cold, but it was a good chill. The Norwegian hated to sweat (it didn't help that he tended to dress in layers as a habit), it just wasn't something he took interest in.
Trygve turned to wander aimlessly, but that was when he spotted the curly haired boy. He blinked slowly, never having seen the small male before and he contemplated ignoring him and walking on, but in all honesty he didn’t have anything he had to do, and one could only make ….acquaintances, if one socialized. So he could give it a try,”…” He walked over to the bench, taking a seat on it, book and bag in his lap. He blinked as he saw the campus map, and he looked up at him, eyes blinking slowly,”Are you lost?” He asked bluntly, what? He never claimed to be good at socializing.

Raivis jumped in sudden realization when someone sat down next to him. He had been so lost in thought he hadn’t noticed really that someone was nearby. He smiled shyly at the other when he asked him a question. “I-I am a little lost.” He said shyly. He was new so…might as well begin making friends, right? “I-I’m new.” He started off before continuing. “M-My name is R-Raivis G-Galante.” He said in a small greeting. He still held the school campus map in his hand, and quickly freed it to offer in a friendly manner to shake. Even though his hand shook a little…well…in fact his whole body was shaking.
Those etiquette lessons taught him to always offer your hand to shake when meeting someone new. It was polite and showed some form of intelligence. Soon the wind picked up and blew the map right out of his lap, since his other hand was holding the apple still. “M-My map!” he yelled loudly. He let out a small sigh to show sadness as the map was whisked away and over the fence. “O-Oh great…” he muttered. Well wasn’t this just great? Now he was lost for sure. He lowered his head. “P-Pleased to meet you…” he muttered, feeling dejected.

He blinked at the other, expression rather flat as it always was. A brow raised, only slightly, hearing the others predicament,”Lost?” He repeated as he stared. He nodded a bit,”Ah…” He wished he had something a bit more eloquent to say. He himself was new, but he’d spent a few days here, figuring out where everything was (and where to go when he didn’t want human interaction).
“Raivis Galante…” He repeated, he could remember that. “I am Trygve Gråfell.” He stated plainly. He blinked as the wind picked up, and he did little to nothing about that map. Why try to catch something the wind wanted to take away? It was pointless. Once he lost sight of the precious item he looked back at Raivis. Apparently the loss of a piece of paper was saddening. ‘I need to stop being so judge…y….Judgey…’ He thought to himself, realizing he was already criticizing the poor boy next to him. He wasn’t naturally a mean person, God no, he just wasn’t very nice. It was easier for him to be a cynic then positive.
“Pleased to meet you…” He said in return, as it was the custom. He blinked some, he supposed he should help the other,”Where were you looking to go, Raivis?” He asked as he pushed some of his hair from his face, the wind having blown it out of place.
