Hello, Elise Katherine Demotte.
» Is there anything you would rather be called?
"Mm..? Ik weet het niet just call me Elise, ja?"
» Great, now that we've got that covered. How old are you?
"I just turned 17 on the 21st of July."
» Thanks! Slipped my mind. Now, do you know the super secret code word?
King of Anything - Sara Bareilles

Let's talk about your personality.
» What are a few of your favorite things?
"You're asking my favorite things? I really don't think that's any of your business... Oh.... I see so it's a survey, well okay. Let's see, a few things about little old me~ I really love animals especially dogs and cats and eating my Moeder's food. What, you want to know more? Ik weet het niet... I'm going to keep the rest of it a secret, ja?"
»That's interesting. Is there anything you absolutely dislike?
"I dislike fighting of any kind, especially with the ones closest to me. I also hate it when my big broeder bullies me and calls me a fatass! How rude is that? I also can't stand the stench of cigarettes, they're seriously disgusting I don't see the appeal to them at all. "
» Hm, what is your greatest fear?
"Having to depend on others, I don't want to burden them."
» Yeah, that is scary. Do you have any dreams for the future?
"I wanna become a famous cartoonist and publish a great comic like Tintin! Mmmm...cooking, I want my kitchen to be filled with warmth, love, laughter, and good food. There's also a husband and a kid in this picture mind you.
» Wow, I hope you succeed. Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
"There isn't much to tell really, I'm seventeen years old and a transfer student from Belgium. I'm told I'd stand out more if it weren't for my simple clothing, but to each their own right? People tend to described me as diligent, friendly, and even nosy; which is true I can't turn away from gossip, especially if it's good and really juicy. Oh, fun fact: I can speak four languages fluently: Dutch, French, German, and English and I'm taking Spanish right now, and no I won't do your homework for you, so don't even bother asking. I really can't think of anything else to say, I'm interested in the arts and can cook really well, other then that I'm just a regular girl."

So far so good. Now for history.
» So tell me, where are you from? What did you think of it?
"I grew up Bruges, the capital of West Flanders province which is best known for being the heart of tourism in Belgium. I couldn't have asked to have been born in a more beautiful place, as it has remained a medieval Flemish town perfectly preserved with it's cobbled lanes, canals and bridges, and breathtaking buildings. I always loved my hometown, even as a child though there was little to do. To pass the time my broeder's and I would play hide and seek for the entire day, explore abandoned buildings, and visit the old churches, we never ran out of things to do. To put it simply, my home is like walking into a time capsule, it has this old world type of charm that makes you forget about everything except the present. Before you even know it, summer is gone and Winter is here and you're locked inside till spring comes.
» Do you have any other family? Parents? Siblings? Extended? What do you think about them?
"There's Moeder and Vader; whom I love very much and miss every single day we are apart. I also have two elder broeder's who bully and boss me around, but that's okay because I just hit them back ;3 In this small country, where nobody moves a lot family members are always in touch, and it's hard to get away from family even if you wanted to. Opa and Oma are right next door, so at least three times a week we'd eat together and twice a week my Tante would stop on by for a meal. Oh! I almost forgot, we have two other members in the family: a Malinois named Apollo and a super cute kitty named Kort Endik, who sells insurance on the side. Whaa! Sorry! I started talking about my family and I must have bored you to tears, I'm sorry! Shutting up now.
» What is your worst memory/memories?
"You really like sticking your nose into places where it doesn't belong don't you? Not that I can say anything. Well, I'm not telling you my worst memory but I'll tell you one of the top five okay? I was five years old when my family decided to visit our neighboring country France for the day since we'd gotten a good deal on train ticket. I don't have many memories of that time, but this particular hour I remember vividly. We were walking down a block and I got separated from my parents and siblings and ended up alone in a place completely foreign to me. Imagine being in a country which language you can't understand, unable to communicate with anybody, it was like being a mute. I remember crying and crying for my Moeder who wasn't there and for a Vader who'd vanished like magic. So, I sat there in front of a shaved ice vendor for the entire afternoon eating a lemon flavored pop that the man running the stand had given to me. I really don't like going to France now."
» What is your best memory/memories?
"I've had so many warm and happy memories I don't think I could ever pick a favorite. Actually, one time I remember being truly to honest happy was my eight birthday, when I received the best gift I've ever gotten: my own room. Up till then I'd had to share with my two stupid and disgusting Broeder's but when I turned eight, Moeder and Vader decided it was time I had my own room. So, I got to move into the guest room and we redecorated the entire thing into exactly what I wanted. Because it was my room. On that day, I didn't just get a room I became independent and got to decide everything for myself. It was awesome.
» Where are you now? What are you doing with your life?
"Well, since I've told you basically everything else there is to know, I see little point in leaving not answering this one. I'm currently in my Sophomore year at the WorldWide Boarding School, which is a silly name if you ask me, Academy would sound much better. I try to keep my grades up and offer tutoring in any of the languages I know to people who really need it. Over the weekends I work the night shift at this cute little cafe that never closes. On Friday nights it's open mic night and lots of poets, musicians, and even dancers come in to share their work, which depending on the person can go either way. I like my job. especially when I get to bake all these delicious treats that brings a smile to a customers face no matter how bad their day might have been. Sweets are actually magically in that way. Let's see? Anything else? No, I don't think so. This little questionnaire is over right?
